Dubious Brothers and Sister Red The Dubious Brothers and Sister Red (featuring Melissa Lewis) is quickly becoming know as one of the most versatile bands in the area. The core of the band is the The Rex Hedding Band, a very popular group in the 80's consisting of Wes Stebbins (guitar/vocals), Duane Remmers (bass/vocals) and Dan Parsons (drums). They have added the sax and keyboard talents of Jon Hischke (the Smoke Ring, The Fabtones, String Demons) and the awesome vocal ability of Melissa Lewis, a well know actor in the lincoln theatrical scene. The Dubious Brothers and Sister Red channels the best of classic and contemporary rock - presenting the music of performers as diverse as Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, U2, Eric Clapton, Mary J. Blige, Tom Petty, No Doubt and many more. Entertaining the audience is the prime goal of this band and everyone will find several songs that they can sing along with, dance to or just sit and enjoy the great music. Sister Red (Melissa) brings a tremendous amount of energy to the stage and with the solid backing of the Dubious Brothers, a good time is guaranteed for all.
